Seeking input for federal Budget 2015 – Tuesday, October 14th

On Tuesday, October 14, Bruce Stanton, MP for Simcoe North, is inviting the public and representatives of community groups and interests to present their ideas for Budget 2015.

This year’s consultation will take place in two parts.  Between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., at the Midland Cultural Centre, up to 15 minutes will be allotted for each presenter representing an organization or community interest.  The public is invited to observe these presentations.

Then, between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., the public is invited to present their own ideas, questions and commentary in an open Town Hall format, at the same location.

“I am interested in hearing suggestions on how to better spend federal tax dollars, areas for investment for long-term prosperity, and as we expect surplus budgets in 2015, the priorities we should be assigning to future taxing and spending by the federal government”, said Stanton.

Those interested in participating in this year’s budget consultation are invited to contact Judy Fulsom, bruce.stanton.a1@parl.gc.ca or 800-265-6228.
