Interview with VAGUE FM 88.1

This past week I visited our region’s Francophone radio station, VAGUE FM 88.1 to provide my commentary on the announcement by the Ontario government regarding French language services.  As a Conservative, I am very concerned by the announcements that affect Franco-Ontarians of our riding. Our Leader Andrew Scheer is also a strong advocate of official bilingualism, having himself benefited from French immersion programs during his studies in Ottawa. I expressed my firm belief that it is vital to uphold Canada’s bilingual heritage by making sure federal services to minority official language communities are protected. I am grateful to VAGUE FM 88.1 and interviewer Marc Lalonde for giving me the opportunity to speak on this important matter. Vous pouvez écouter mon interview complète en français ci-dessous.
