CRTC – Applications Guide for the Broadband Fund

The Canadian Radio and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) has published a preliminary application guide so that interested persons and organizations can better understand the process and the opportunity to provide comments.  Interested persons who wish to become parties to this proceeding must file an intervention with the Commission regarding the matters by 18 March 2019. The intervention must be filed in accordance with section 26 of the Rules of Procedure.

The purpose of the Application Guide is to (i) assist applicants in the completion and submission of their applications for funding, (ii) inform applicants of the process that will be used to evaluate and select projects for funding, (iii) inform applicants of the types of conditions that will be imposed on Broadband Fund recipients, and (iv) inform applicants about the online application intake system, which will be launched shortly after the issuance of the call for applications.
