Angélique Bernard

In 1995, Angélique Bernard moved to the Yukon for a translation internship with the Bureau of French Language Services. She quickly immersed herself in Yukon culture and became involved in the territory’s Francophone community.

From 1996 to 2001, Ms. Bernard worked as a development officer with Les EssentiElles, a non‑profit organization that represents the interests of Yukon’s French-speaking women. Since 1998, she has volunteered as the host of a weekly French radio program.
